Install the chatbot on Wix

Add an AI chatbot to your Wix website with custom code, on every page.

This guide shows you how to add your chatbot's widget to a Wix website, with the Custom Code option in your dashboard.

Before you start

  • Your chatbot must be live: in the Deploy tab, click Deploy.
  • Copy the embed code: Deploy → Widget tab, Copy button. See Install the widget on your website.
  • Adding custom code requires a Wix Premium plan with a connected domain.

Open Custom Code

  1. In your Wix site's dashboard, go to Settings.
  2. In the advanced section, open Custom Code.
  3. Click Add Custom Code.

Paste the code

  1. Paste the embed code in the code box.
  2. Give it a name, for example "Chatbot".
  3. Choose All pages.
  4. Choose the Body - end placement.
  5. Click Apply.

The widget now shows on every page of your website.

Check on your published site

Custom code doesn't run in the Wix editor or its preview: open your published site, ideally in a private browsing window. The chat bubble should appear in the corner chosen in Settings.

The widget doesn't show?

  • Check the published site, not the editor.
  • Check that the code applies to All pages.
  • Allowed sites: if you filled them in, check that your domain is in the list.
  • Check that the chatbot is Live in the Deploy tab.
